Arbor Day is a nationally-celebrated observance that promotes the benefits of trees in the urban environment and encourages tree planting and care.  Florida's Arbor Day is recognized the 3rd Friday of January. In honor of Arbor Day the Vice Mayor of Safety Harbor, Nina Bandoni, will come to Mommy and Me at the Safety Harbor Gazebo and read one or two books to the children and a tree will be given to each child.
